Weekly Special: February 17th – 23rd

Well, it’s mid February and we at Groovin’ Gourmets are all a little over winter. So we’re heading to the Southwest for a change of scenery and spice things up a little. Next week’s special is Groovin’ Gourmets’ rib sticking original dish,  Southwest chicken lasagna, refried pinto beans, steamed corn spiked with garlic. Your choice of freshly brewed sweetened or unsweetened iced tea. For dessert, indulge in our coconut cupcakes topped with lime buttercream.

Still trying to keep your new years resolution to eat healthier? A little known fact about garlic! When using chopped or crushed garlic, let it sit on your cutting board for 10-15 minutes and this will increase it’s health benefits by activating it’s trace mineral selenium which helps boost metabolism. Garlic has also been known to reduce risk for heart disease, normalize cholesterol and blood pressure, protect against cancer and reduce your risk of osteoarthritis! In layman’s terms, don’t skip out on our garlic corn!

Each order is $7.75 per guest if you order by 4:00 PM today. All orders placed after 4:00 PM today will be $8.75 per guest. The vegetarian special is vegetable paella. Coconut cupcakes are $23.95 a dozen.
